Zune HD Review

It is here! The Zune HD 16gb and 32gb players are finally here! What is so good about this device you ask? It is the second MP3/WMA player to have an OLED display to begin with. What else can it do? It can display videos in 720p high definition with a dock that is not included. It has the clearest display on the market for watching high definition videos. I can't brag enough on the screen quality. It blew my socks off. The screen is a touch screen just like the Ipod Touch/Iphone. The accelerometer in this device is more responsive than the Touch. I have had it for three days and I am very pleased with my purchase. The 16gb is going for $219.00, and the 32gb is going for $289.00. It has multi touch functionality just like the Ipod Touch. http://www.zune.net/en-US/

The upgraded Zune software makes itunes look silly. It is truly next generation and has a sharp finished look to it. If you want to go against the grain and get from under the ipod umbrella and stop being a me too member you have to check this player out. So far there are only a handful of apps. available, but that will change with time. All of the podcast family is here. One true advantage to a zune is the all you can download pass. For $15 a month you can download as much music as you want. Each month you get to keep 10 songs from the unlimited downloads. If your subscription expires, you only get to keep the 10 songs per month you downloaded. Fifteen dollars a month is a small price to pay for unlimited music. You can experiment with music you never thought you would listen to.
In the box you get the Zune HD player, a Zune USB sync plug, a pair of headphones, instructions, a free 14 day unlimited downloads pass, and a nice box. The player is compatiable with the Xbox 360 video game system. You can view your pictures, listen to music, and watch videos by connecting it strait to the system. I love this player. You should get one for yourself or your relative for Christmas/Kwanzaa or just pick one up. This player has a bright future ahead of it with the inclusion of the powerful Tegra chip inside of it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zune_hd Get one now!!!!!!!!!!

  1. How's the battery life? I have a Zune 80 GB and the battery life is so-so. I would think the HD is a big improvement.
